Front cover design for Other Words, a literature magazine produced by City University London.
The typographic treatment was to illustrate a feature on new author Dean Carter and his debut horror novel about killer mosquitoes.
I also contributed an interior page layout for a feature entitled A Good Year For Books. In keeping with the year in question of 1955, the page was set on a diagonal asymmetric grid set in a grotesk sans-serif, but unfortunately the editorial team later changed the typefaces used.
The magazine picked up an award for Best Team in the UK Press Gazette Student Awards, September 2005.
